Datacenter Broker
Datacenter Broker is run from Amsterdam by Nick Aldewereld. We sit between European colocation providers and the buyers who need them, and between industrial real estate owners and the tenants who could occupy their facilities. We never represent both ends of the same transaction. We never take an undisclosed commission. We do not run free consultations.
Why
The market needed someone who didn't sell anything.
The colocation market in Europe is dominated by four kinds of party. Operators want to fill their racks. Real-estate developers want to deliver capital projects. Tenant-rep agents work on commissions weighted toward whoever pays the most. And in-house procurement teams spend half a year asking eight providers the same questions and building eight slightly different RFPs.
We do something different. We do not own a single rack. We do not own any building. We earn a transparent commission from the provider on placement — at the same rate, written into the same agreement, regardless of which provider gets selected. On the supply side, we charge for our time at hourly rates that are public.
The conflict is removed, not papered over. That is the entire position.
